Covering the Overflow When Every Brief Is Already Running Late
We Are Social was at full capacity across a growing portfolio of global brand campaigns. Cureative came in as a design extension, absorbing overflow work across multiple accounts and reducing the friction that builds when an internal team has no room to flex.
When a creative team is running at full stretch, the problems do not announce themselves cleanly. Work slows. Feedback loops get longer. Small delays stack up. By the time the bottleneck is visible, the schedule has already compressed.
A portfolio growing faster than the team
We Are Social engaged Cureative in January 2025 to support their internal design function as demand across the portfolio grew. Multiple campaigns were moving in parallel, and the team was managing volume, consistency, and quality across different accounts simultaneously -- each with different requirements and timelines.
Capacity without the onboarding overhead
Cureative came in as a working part of the team rather than as an external supplier. The role was to provide design capacity that could scale alongside demand without adding headcount or requiring the internal team to spend time on onboarding and briefing cycles. The goal from the outset was to reduce friction, not introduce it.
Over the months that followed, the engagement covered a wide range of briefs across multiple accounts. Formats, timelines, and the level of creative direction required varied from project to project. The value was in being able to flex: scaling up for high-pressure delivery windows and adjusting when demand shifted, without the overhead that a standard supplier relationship typically requires.
Delays absorbed before they ever showed
The throughline was the feedback loop. Keeping communication direct and turnarounds tight meant that the operational delays that compound under pressure were absorbed before they became visible in the delivery schedule.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
"The team at Cureative assisted with delivery across a range of projects, often supporting tight turnaround times. The value they bring outside of design is their responsiveness and the blanket of support they provide during stressful periods."
